About the Faith Table

We are a skill- and resource-based formation, strategically connecting progressive people of faith with partner organizations seeking to organize and mobilize around:

  • Advocacy and Moral Voice

  • Infrastructure Support

  • Community Care and Safety

What does the Faith Table do?

We organize around existing gaps in our ecosystem. In our current social and political environment, threats to and within our communities can arise suddenly and without warning.

As a network, we have the ability to step up and step in when beloved members of our communities are targeted, come under threat, and experience urgent needs. We’re building a nimble, responsive, adaptive, and scalable network ready to counter the impact of MAGA and white Christian nationalism.

Faith Table Co-Conveners

The Faith Table is led by a hard-working Steering Committee with member leaders from a number of Blueprint NC partner organizations. The efforts of the Steering Committee are skillfully aligned and organized by Reverends Lisa Garcia-Sampson and CJ Brinson.

    Rev. Lisa is the Executive Director of the Unitarian Universalist Justice Ministry of North Carolina (UUJNC).

  • Co-Convener

    CJ Brinson is the Pastor of Umoja Church in Greensboro, North Carolina.
